I think the blue 50th Cobra Commander is an almost perfect modern reproduction of the original 1983 figure. So, I wanted to make a variant of that figure using the black 2pk figure that came with Shipwreck. I thought the red shoes were a little over the top. So, I removed the feet and red paint from the bottom of the legs. I then added the feet from Battle Katana Roadblock. You can only slightly see the red ankle hinge.

I love the Retaliation Cobra Commander mask. I think it's an awesome update to the original look. I like to think of Cobra Legion as this secret society that's been around for centuries, possibly predating Alexander the Great, and Cobra Commander is simply the current, but most ruthless leader of Cobra to date.
