All parts and accessories - Hydro-Viper

The Hydro-Viper was one of my favourite Cobras when I was younger, I really liked the look of the Demon of the Deep. This custom is just a paint upgrade to the original. I painted the vest black to match the card art (it was probably a planned paint application that Hasbro dropped before production in order to reduce the cost), and added some other black details on the figure and the helmet and fins, and used chrome ink on the knife.

One of the reason I liked the figure was the description that they are surgically altered to withstand nitrogen narcosis and other side effects of deep diving. By combining the information from the figure's file card and the profile printed in an Action Force comic, we can list the known alterations as follows: joints hardened with plastic implants, filters fitted into major arteries, subcutaneous fat production stimulated by chemical injection, rib cage strengthened with steel rods, sheets of synthetic cartilage fitted between ribs, oxygen uptake of lungs artificially increased, and finally synthetic webs implanted between the fingers.
