The Cobra Mortals have existed for thousands of years. It is believed that they were founded in India as a cult to Shesha, the king of all nagas, one of the primal beings of creation. In the New World, they have been traced back to the beginnings of Norte Chico settlements of South America and the Olmec of Mesoamerica

It is not clear where or why they shifted from a religious group into feared warriors but what is clear is that for much of recorded history the Cobra Mortals have struck terror into the hearts and minds of people.

Their history has been lost over the years and the entire organization was thought to have been wiped out. While there have always been reports of assassins using the moniker "Cobra Mortal" no evidence was found to support the notion that these persons were connected to the once great group of fighters. With the spread of THEM it has become clear that the Cobra Mortals still exist as an organization.

Cobra Mortals have been sighted on all 7 continents, why they were in Antarctica no one knows. No one knows who they are or where they come from however, based on their long history it is believed they come from all over the world.
