Starcom had a very short lived cartoon in the 80s and a really cool toy line that went with it. The show focused on the U.S. Space Force as they battled Emperor Dark's Shadow Force that consisted of both aliens and robots. The show had three main characters: Colonel Dash Derringer an ace pilot and commander of the Star Wing Battle Group. Dash is considered one of if not the best pilot to ever live. Crowbar Corbin is an electronics/robotics expert. He is the commander of the Astro Marines Battle Group and is known for his bravery and always leading his men to victory. Slim Griffin is the strongman/martial arts expert of the group. His nickname Slim was given to him by Dash as Slim is actually a big muscular guy. He is the head of Starbase Command.
