In late 2001, many recently used G.I.Joe molds were packed up and sent over to India for use by the Funskool company. In 2003, the mold for Tripwire was used for the "Bomb Squad" version. Cultural tastes being what they were, the Funskool Tripwire was decked out in dark purple and bright orange and deep red. Very striking to be sure and not without merit. Personally I really like the Bomb Squad Tripwire...and that's saying something as I find most of the differently-colored Funskool Joes to be eyesores.
