Just like Snake Eyes, everyone has to have their own Tomax and Xamot customs, so here's my take on them.

Bio: As the years in service to Cobra lengthened on, Tomax and Xamot began feeling psychological effects from begin assigned together too much. Both felt that they were beginning to lose their individuality. So Tomax headed to the far north, and Xamot headed to the Deep South to regain their respected bearings.

As Cobra once again strengthened in power, Cobra Commander was once again in need of their services. With the help of Dr. Mindbender using the Brain-Wave Scanner, Tomax and Xamot could once again serve together as a team. The side-effects of the scanner caused them to no longer finish each other's sentences but to be sole individuals; polar opposites. The whole Jekyll and Hyde effect. If Tomax was calm, then Xamot was on the rampage. Instead of trying to deal with the side-effects, Cobra Commander felt the differences would create great results on the battlefield.
