What can I say that history cannot?

Well, at the very least, I like to imagine Cobra Commander as more competent and intelligent, while also being a good demagogue. In my Joe-verse, after the death of Billy in a car accident, Cobra Commander's lust for earthly gains was shattered, and he was left a man with only his dreams. Dreams of a better country (in his mind... ^_~), and dreams of conquest. He's much more willing to get onto a battlefield and stand for what he believes in, but his skills truly are with a podium more than a pistol.
