A surprising amount of effort went into modifying the parts for this version of the Joes' anti-social dog handler, Mutt.

Perhaps the hardest work was hollowing out the holster on the left thigh to accommodate the BBI pistol, with the mods to the helmet being the next most intensive effort.

Originally I'd had a different head on this figure, one with the traditional Mutt cookie duster, but after seeing the younger look of the clean shaven DTC Mutt, I knew I wanted something similar for my rebooted Joeverse.

The only trouble was, the DTC Mutt looked too nice...too civilized. I needed a ferocious looking face for the guy more likely to bite you than his dog is, and the DTC Serpentor noggin seemed to fit the bill nicely.
