Sgt. Slaughter was best known for his active service to his country on the pro-wrestling circuit. The Sarge was a drill instructer at Parris Island before even starting wrestling.

When COBRA became a bigger threat in 1986, The Sarge was called in to train the new recruits alongside Beach Head and Rock 'n Roll. Their mission was to whip the joes into shape so they could better handle Serpentor and the new COBRA regime.

They say he brushes his teeth with barbed wire on a stick, they say he combs his hair with files and shaves with a blowtorch and sandpaper, but he's the best damn Joe on the force and will always give 110% and expects it back.
