Entire figure: Funskool Wild Weasel

Ever since I received my Funskool Wild Weasel, I've wanted to change his color. Initially, I was just going to remove the bad blue and yellow paints and recolor it just like the original 84 figure, but then the artistic side of me super-duper-Bruce-Lee-kicked the lazy side of me in the face and made me realize I could do something more original than that.

I decided to go with the first VvV Wild Weasel's color scheme. It was nice, classy and it could transfer itself well to the old sculpt figure. I ran into problems with his left bicep. It was already difficult to move when I'd gotten it, but I shrugged it off. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a molding error, as the entire bicep fell to pieces when I was cleaning it up. A-freakin'-mazing. Luckily I managed to glue it back together without sacrificing articulation.

The recipe is pretty easy. I cleaned off the bad blue and yellow paints, dyed the body black and gave the head a brief bath in red dye (to tone down the brightness), and then painted to match the Night Adder pilot.

One thing I wish I could change would be to use better maps on his legs, but until I get some fancy sticker printing system, he's stuck with those two yellow maps.
