Tomax and Xamot are twins that have been born with the unique ability to feel each other's whereabouts and/or perils. It is also believed that they can communicate telepathically with each other. Thanks to this they have mastered a high skill of coordination with which they can cooperate symmetrically with each other. At young age, they thought they could use this ability to become circus-acrobats, so they spent time doing a lot of gymnastics and weigh-lifting while they grew up, practices they still do as adults. They never made it to the circus though, because they were enlisted to war. It was during a battle in the war that Xamot got the scar on his face. As soldiers, their unique skills allowed them to become mercenaries. They did several assassinations, and that's when they discovered that they liked to make fast money better rather than pleasing a group of humans in a circus-tent.

They took military courses of banking and laws where they managed to score one of the highest grades ever. After leaving the army, they began to build a fortune by dealing on international stock market and traded their earnings in gold or other valuable goods that they smuggled over the globe and sold again for a higher price. They soon made enough money to lay the foundation of their own banking company that they named: the Extensive Enterprise.

Although the company seemed to be legitimate and honest on the outside, Tomax and Xamot made money by financing a number of coups and illegal arms shipments to embargoed countries. Thanks to their double-intelligence, they knew exactly how to wire illegal funds all over the globe without those being recorded. For this they take high fees that they usually disguise as non-taxable services. It was through the Extensive Enterprise corporation the man that would become Cobra Commander was able to secretly start and finance his organization known as Cobra. Being an intelligent man himself, Cobra Commander offered Tomax and Xamot a partnership that would allow their company to expand and achieve greater importance in the market. Becoming heads of Cobra's legal department, the twins could use their expertise of international law and finance to give Cobra a legal status in the world despite their reign of terror. As they sit in Cobra's high command, the twins will always know where Cobra will strike next, and they use this knowledge to calculate how the market will be affected by the attack to make good fortunes on it - first before the hit, and then after.

Being acrobats since childhood and soldiers of a war, the twins are very capable Cobra officers both on the battlefield and in boardrooms. But as Cobra started to become worldwide, the twins were required to be in several cities or countries at the same time, which was impossible. The problem was solved by the start of new elite troopers that would be called: the Crimson Guard - Cobra agents that held degrees of both law and/or accounting to the level that almost matched the twins' expertise. The twins trained the first group themselves and that is why they are referred to as the Crimson Guard Commanders. With the help of the "Siegie's", Cobra can now make a fortune by chasing you with papers, wound you with your own laws and kill you with the money you loaned them... and Extensive Enterprise make a lot of money on this by charging Cobra a high percentage, which the company do not pay taxes for as those transactions do not exist on records.


Personal Comments:

Not much really with those figures, similar kinds have been seen before on this site. The difference is that I've taken it two steps farther. By putting the heads on Headman's ball neck, they now got the collar belonging to their suits. And since I have never liked those weird shoes Headman came with, the replacement to Tunnelrat's pants made a great improvement. It's too bad that you can't mirror one of the figures as they were on the old show, but you can't get everything.
