I wanted to make a custom Destro to look like the original figure from 1983. I modified the head so it would fit the new sculpt torso. For the necklace I reshaped a stick-on plastic "fashion jewel" and inset it in epoxy putty and used fishing line for the rest.

I used epoxy putty on the Zartan v4 torso to create the Destro look. For the holster on the right leg, I used the Lady Jaye v3 holster and sculpted the rest. I primed the figure with a flat white base coat, using Krylon Flat White spray paint.


I'm thrilled with this custom and glad I finally got around to finishing it. Destro is one of my favorite G.I. Joe characters from childhood.
