Recondo was one of my favorite characters as a kid, mostly because of his specialty. I always envisioned him spending weeks at a time out in the deep jungle, hacking out paths and living off the land. I tried to make a figure that emphasized the jungle trooper aspect of Recondo's character. I took off the mustache because I just couldn't see him carefully shaving it; it didn't fit with the character I was imagining. I really wanted to do justice to Recondo, and I'm happy with the result.
