I liked the gear from COBRA Commander V1 and so when I ripped it off for my V2, I was left with the blue armored figure. Since my son needed more bad guys, the good Commander agreed to be demoted to a COBRA Trooper. I always liked the Troopers more than the Vipers because they were the first COBRA soldiers, so I took cues from the original figure and the 25th Anniversary figure pictures. The handcuffs were an addition that my son loves. Modifications to the figure include trimming the cloth mask and sanding and sculpting to achieve passable facial structure, sculpting the face mask and eyebrows, and removing the "skirt." The battle damage feature in the chest is really cool for a Trooper.
