This figure was both a lot of fun to make and a headache at the same time.
The headache came from the choice of parts. I had a spare MLS Magneto figure lying around that I had already earmarked for Road Pig. It is almost perfect for scale. (see the third picture with the 25th Anniversary Zartan) The problems were the feet and the hands. I tried grafting several different sets of boots onto the Magneto legs before accidentally coming across a headless Ghost Rider figure on a general rummage for parts. That gave me the idea of using the spiky wrist bands, which slide off if you cut the hands off, swapping over the waist, swapping the boots/lower legs and using the skulls for decoration. I had made a mold of the ARAH Road Pig a while ago to make a couple of other customs, and I had a spare set of armour and a breeze block handy.
I had to build up his waist at the back with clay as the two different waists/torsos are not directly compatible.
All in all, quite pleased with this. I prefer it to the first Road Pig custom I did.
