Retzev is a former member of the Israeli Defense Force where he was a Krav Maga instructor. He quickly became one of the top instructors in the country. He was then selected to be one of a handful of instructors to come to the United States and teach at the Krav Maga Worldwide Force Training Division. During the courses he was recognized by military officials as GI Joe material for his excellent technique and training ability. He gladly joined the team and teaches and fights along side the other Joes.
