Born in Plymouth, and at the age of 17 joined the Royal Navy, in Dereford. After various postings on different ships he transfered to the Royal Marines and was quickly recruited in to the S.B.S. which is the British Navy Seals. He excelled in small teams and displayed exceptional skills, not just in warfare but in negotiation skills and diplomacy. This was noted by his senior officers during debriefings and he was trained further with the S.A.S. and MI5 in counter terrorism. His character makes him very likable and therefore was a good choice for recruiting informants and making contacts all over Europe. He was then recruited into G.I. Joe after a classified mission left some Joes in the hands of some bad people, Limey's intel helped a rescue mission succeed in the rescue of said operatives and was approached by General Hawk to help liase with Joe agents in Europe. His contacts are invaluable and can provide hardware as well as safe houses etc...
He tends not to be on the front line these days, but it is not unheard of him donning a wet suit or urban combat gear and going behind enemy lines to extract fallen comrades.
