Professor Appel was a favorite of mine: After introducing the Crimson Guard as these fit, smart, clones via plastic surgery, we have Professor Appel. Older, tubby, and most certainly not a "Fred" series CG -- but credited with Cobra's most lasting accomplishment: The raising of Cobra Island.

It's through him that the idea of different series of CGs blossomed in my head, and came to fruition with the back-history of Baron Ironblood, who in my universe was originally an Appel-series CG.

For the Appel-series, they are simple headswap LBCs. For the Prof himself, I used 'QuikPlastik' from Home Depot (I'd ran out of green stuff) to shape the jacket and collar, then added a pocket I'd shaved off of a BBI figure to match the DTC design.
