Whenever Hasbro renamed a classic character, I always thought of them as new characters, different from the original ones - case in point, Heavy Metal being renamed SPEED METAL.

After re-watching the old G.I.Joe cartoons, case in point -"Worlds Without End", I thought to myself, Why not take these renamed characters, and make them Joes from an alternate universe? Granted, its far fetched, like a story from superhero comics, but I thought it could work - at least in my own joeverse.

I gave an extra life to SPEED METAL's filecard flavor text by having him avoid Heavy Metal's family.
