I traditionally use the elite Crimson Guard as bodyguards to Cobra High Command. The original figures are used for ceremonial processions and security. The Crimson Guard Immortals are used as bodyguards to Cobra Commander when in the field of battle, which is not very often giving the Immortals time to carry out moniker of Hunter/Killers. The Hunter Killers are the equivalent of Cobra Secret Police.
The Siegie H/K's are feared by both Joe and Cobra alike, they are tasked by the Commander to hunt down and terminate with extreme prejudice any individual(s) deemed a threat to the Cobra cause.
They are well trained, heavily armed, well armored, and highly motivated. If a small, but elite squad of Siegie H/K's knocks on your door in the middle of the night its too late, you're already dead!

I don't often make customs of Cobra troops because the army builder in me always wants more of them. There are times where I make an exception and am content with just one, and then there are other, very few times where I can't help myself and end up making a small group of custom army builders. The Crimson Guard H/K's fall into the latter category.
I started with just two figures but earlier this year I completed two more, so I have four identical Crimson Guard Hunter Killer figures in my collection.
I kept the formula pretty basic with a paint scheme that is easy to repeat in case I decide on adding more figures down the road.
