I started a project a few years back to make versions of the original Joes in desert uniforms. (It was inspired by two of Grand Slam's customs.) For the project, I wanted to remake them in the same fashion that Clutch and Grunt had been redone for the Vamp mk II and glider. The same molds, but in tan colors. I did have to take a few creative measures for those Joes who had differing torsos. All in all, I did succeed in the endeavor. Using about 90% of the parts from those two figures to make tan versions of the original team.

Steeler is one of the two exception I made (Stalker being the other) in parts usage. I used different arms on those two simply because it gave them a better look than either of the other options at my disposal. Plus, I thought that Duke's and Doc's arms looked a bit like recolored versions of the original Steelers arms.
