Airborne has always been a favorite character of mine. I loved the Sky Patrol figure, but couldn't stand the fact that it was a totally different character. When I decided to update the "true" Airborne, I used the sky Patrol Figure as inspiration. I know I could've simply stuck a countdown head on the Sky Patrol Airborne body, but this was a lot more satisfying.
