Dark Matters was visiting the New York Comic Con when THEY attacked. Being armed only with a plastic sword and knife she was able to fight her way out of the sweaty mass of bodies being munched on and make her way to an exit where she met Joe Team members assigned to quarantine and sanitize the area. She was able to leave as she showed no signs of infection.
