The Night Force figure concept never appealed to me as a kid. It wasn't until I was an adult that I thought the idea of a team of Joe's operating under the cover of darkness behind enemy lines sounded so cool. Anyway, I never really had any of the Night Force figures, and based on their price points, I probably never will. I instead decided to make my own team of Night Force figures using some of my favorite character/molds from the ARAH line.

Ambush was always one of my favorite toys as a kid; 1990 was my favorite Joe year and he was a prime example of why.
One thing I had always wanted to do with the figure was give him a darker paint scheme, and I thought that my Night Force team would be a perfect opportunity for that.
