I shared the Work in Progress of Machine Man during Custom Celebration IX and it took a year and change to finish him; right as Hasbro revealed their comic pack at Toy Fair.

I wanted to mimick the Marvel Legends version only I wanted to make the limbs actually extend. I quickly discovered the limbs could only extended like a half inch, think vintage Kenner lightsaber arms. I shortened the rods in the forearms and attached aluminum tubes the length I wanted. Then cut the calf pegs down to fit in the tubes but still hold the lower legs on. The hands and Kre-O attachment pegs also fit into the tubes.
