Every team needs a leader and the Night-Vipers are no different. Since they are part of Cobra's Special Operations Forces, Night-Viper Officers, or NVOs, are very selectively chosen from among Cobra's officer corps and from Night-Vipers who have shown strong leadership abilities. NVOs are the tactical commanders on the ground during 'direct action' operations. As such, they are responsible for co-ordinating the planning, insertion, execution, fire, movement and extraction for the missions.
