Batman is the protector of Gotham, when THEY started walking the earth Batman donned his high tech armor making him near invulnerable to walker attack. It has a Stark power core as well as several MARS defensive upgrades. There are reports from Joe scouting parties that the Batman has rescued them from attacks on more then one occasion.
