In 2008, the GI Joe Collector's Club released the SWAT 3-pack as an exclusive set at the international GI Joe Convention in Dallas. The 3-pack contained Long Arm, Lowlight and Shockwave and was pitted against Gristle and his Headhunters. This was a fun set in my opinion and I set out to recreate it in modern era parts that year. Looking back, this was one of my first large projects involving multiple figures. Although the customs are a bit dated now, the set is still fun and may merit a revisit in the future.

Although not a part of the original 3-pack, Barricade felt like a natural character to be included in the expanded set. His bunker busting skills could be put to good use in an urban environment.
