The most level headed man on Professor Stout's expedition, is Dr. Samuel Andreas. A doctor (of veterinary medicine) in his own right, he feels compelled to take this job for the financial security of his family, yet does so with much reservation. He has vowed that he will use the position to do good. To save who and what can be saved, and to mitigate the losses he know will come, even if his affiliation with the endeavor ultimately will taint his own name. Not unexpectedly, Dr. Andreas has already grown to greatly dislike the team's head of security, Major Black.
