Destro's probably my second favorite Joe character behind Shipwreck, so I've been thinking over Destro customs in my mind for a while now. Thanks to some time off here and there, as well as seeing some recent work, I've finally been able to get around to doing a custom of him. The figure takes cues from the first two versions of Destro and mixes them a little.

The cape is removable as I added a backpack peg to it. You'll have to excuse there not being a pic of that, but it's a little messy. I had everything done, did my clearcoat and then found that the clearcoat made the JB Weld I used to glue the peg on its bitch. So, I've got it glued back but not touched up. It was amazing to see how well that cape matched up to the Voltar collar.
