This is one version of a Battle Android Trooper the G.I.Joe-team would prefer not to engage in combat as it is one of the deadliest killing-machines Cobra has manufactured. Created by Cobra's new Master-Technician Dr. Cassandra Knox, the B.A.A.T. will bring thirty times the chaos and destruction as the first model of BATs. Reinforced with tank-armor from head to toe, no hand-held weapon can barely make a dent in it's hull - it takes an anti-tank missile to blow it off its feet, if you can hit it.

Unlike the ordinary Bat's, the B.A.A.T. is equipped with missile-track sensors that can pinpoint fast traveling projectiles and knock them out of the sky before the missile can reach its target. The B.A.A.T. is also equipped with infrared and motion-detectors (with a special program which allows it to recognize allies to avoid destruction of Cobra equipment) that can track enemy movement up to thirty yards. And when the B.A.A.T.'s got a target locked on, it fires its main armaments: the General Monopolies 5.56mm, six-barreled, electronically driven, mini-gatling machine gun that delivers 4000 rounds-per-minute at a muzzle velocity of 3300 feet-per-second that will perforate any obstacle like it was cut by a chainsaw - so it's futile to try and hide behind a wall. The B.A.A.T. will just shoot through it by scanning your body-heat.

The B.A.A.T. may be tougher - but because of its weight it is much slower and that is its weakness. It is much easier to destroy it if you can manage to knock it down or take out its weapons - but even without its machine guns it is dangerous. It will just discard the equipment and continue its rampage on foot, destroying everything in its path with its bare hands. Fortunately Cobra cannot send out entire legions of the B.A.A.T., as it is quite expensive to build. Each unit cost as much as a locomotive.

Personal comments:

Forget about that silly Star-brigade B.A.A.T. - this is what I call an armored B.A.T.

I always wanted to rebuild that figure into something better using its head - and I always enjoyed Rock 'N Roll's equipment so much that I wanted to add that to something of Cobra's. But I'm most proud of the legs. It's difficult to make a perfect blend that looks natural when you try to put two objects together into something new. I hope you like this figure.
