The original Red Jackal was a very sight repaint of Destro; although I used the updated Destro's head, waist and torso, I wanted to try something that would get away from the 'man in the silver mask' look. Taking my cue from that much-loved doyenne of the GI Joe range, Robo-Joe, I've tried to go for a partially cybernetic head, which is helped by the design of the V vs. V Destro. For the rest of the figure, I like the torso, as it suggests that 'Euro-terrorist' look that is very much part of the Red Shadows image. For the arms and legs, I found parts that once again suggested cybernetics, and was very pleased to put the arms of Swamp Rat (by far the worst GI Joe figure ever created) to some use at last.
