This was the first figure I had ever tried weathering using artists' pastels, and I really like how it came out -- a much more subtle weathering than using just washes and drybrushing alone, and one I'm sure I'll be using much more in the future, especially on vehicle customs, as the 'dust' really pulls details in large, flat areas. Also, in regards to this specific custom: the movie version of Johann -- when I first saw that reference pic, I knew that could be done with an Ace head, and ever since I was a little kid I've wondered what was up with Greedo's hands... And who knew Johann was a cotton ball?
