Head: ARAH Gung Ho v3
Chest/back: '85 Frostbite
Arms: ARAH Hawk v4
Waist: '84 Cutter
Legs: '85 Bazooka

Design:

Another Action Force figure. Nothing flashy, just a Gaucho in ARAH format that doesn't look exactly like Gung Ho. Something about the sweatband Gung Ho head never seemed like a good Gung Ho sculpt. It's not a bad design, but it lacked something that screamed "crazy Cajun". Maybe the less brazen mustache or the pencil thin nose or the vacant expression. As Gaucho, and with the sweatband and top of the head repainted as a skull cap, the head works.

Colors & Paints:

One of the Action Force Gaucho figures is in olive drab. I took that design and threw a black leather jacket over it. Simple and clean. Along with the skull cap, I used a darker skin tone to further separate the head as being Gaucho and not Gung Ho. As with all of my Action Force customs, and for no particular reason, I added baby blue (turtleneck) and crimson red (holster and boot pads). In this case, the red even makes sense as the original Gaucho figure wore a red vest.

Modifying and Sculpting:

The crotch piece is repaired, if not very well. The neck and neck socket took some modifying.
