There was something about Crankcase look that I really liked as a kid. I was excited to hear that Hasbro was going to release him with the A.W.E striker...then I saw the figure and I was very disappointed.

I felt that the Grunt,Grand Slam, Green Shirts, etc etc head really worked well for Crankcase. So I sculpted on his trademark mustache and the figure really came together. I tried to give the face the same expression as the original figure.

I had to dremel a lot of the Duke torso to make it work. Most of that is not sculpted but instead dremeled and then smoothed out. I did sculpt the shirt detail under the collar and down by the waist. I then added a pouch on his left leg to resemble the one on his right.

Lastly I added the finishing touch of giving him a gun from Marauder John that resembled his original.
