Like just about everybody else, I wanted to know why H decided not to do a 25th style Zandar and Zarana, so like just about everybody else, I made my own.

I decided to emulate the original Zarana figure in my custom. Scarlett's body is wearing a skin tight body suit, so it worked perfect for a woman who was wearing nothing more than a ripped T-shirt. Unfortunately, some of the details on Scarlett's body, like the hole left by the removal of her shoulder grenade and the turtle neck like collar of her shirt made it a bit more difficult to use for a somewhat naked female torso, so I added some green stuff to make Zarana a bit more endowed, as well as to cover up the details of Scarlett's sculpt. This does make Zarana a bit more broad shouldered and barrel chested than I'd have ideally liked, but I think it still turned out pretty good.

After sculpting Zarana's torso and painting it flesh coloured, I Green Stuffed her shirt in place, making it hang off of her to look natural and flowing instead of just molded in place like the original figure.

The legs were a bit of a pain. The top of Lady Jaye's legs didn't fit into the hip socket of Scarlett's lower torso very well, so they had to be cut down a bit. This makes for a good tight fit, however she has absolutely no hip articulation what so ever. Guess she'll never ride a motorcycle again... The leg knife and sheath are cut down from the one offered by MJ and Green Stuffed in place including the strap to hold it in place. The original figure had something on her left thigh that I could never make out from pictures and I assumed it to be maybe a rip in her jeans and she was wearing pink spandex underneath. I decided just to paint the cargo pouch on her left thigh pink instead of doing the rip.

The shoulder holster is from Shipwreck's thigh. I cut off the leg screw socket and glued it in place under her arm. Unfortunately this leaves her standing with her arm hanging out a bit. The strap for the holster is from the harness of the RoC Ice Viper. Most of that harness was used on my Zandar Custom and this little bit was what was left over. The original figure's holster strap was a bit of a mystery as it came up from her left hip, over her left shoulder, then down her back, and under her shirt where it disappeared in space/time. I used the strap and made a complete circle over her left shoulder, with part of the strap going down her back and disappearing under her shirt as a nod to the original.

After I mixed the pink to paint her shirt, I added just a bit more red to it to darken it up to paint her hair. After the pink hair was dry, I added a few red highlights to it. I added the double belt to her just coz it looked good, plus it keeps her upper torso from looking like she's taking steroids.
