This figure was inspired by a combination of Dan Bereton's Thrillkiller comic book series as well as No Joe Challenge #81: Batman 75th Anniversary. I always liked the Thrillkiller look of Robin in the mock high school letter jacket version, as well as Brereton's use of weapons with his characters. I felt the 25th (Armijo) firefly figure had all the look to complete the Robin figure without any body mods, and was able to make the figure completely with just a cast head I picked up online.
