Head: NS Ace
All else: Tiger Claw

Design:

Tiger Claw is an overlooked character from the NS era. The figure is a head-to-toe Kamakura repaint, making it difficult for many collectors to appreciate. I'm a bit more tolerant of repaints than most, so long as a new or different head is slapped on the body. To make the character its own, and not just a repaint, I replaced the masked head with a NS Ace head.

Colors & Painting:

The Ace head had brown hair, which left blonde, red/orange, or black for me to pick from. As tigers are orange, I chose orange/strawberry blonde for Tiger Claw. The hair is underpainted yellow and covered with orange (with a bit of metallic gold mixed in).

I normally paint either neutral or "game face on" expressions on the faces. In this case, however, I decided that perhaps an inquisitive look might do the character more justice.
