Bulletproof made his way to the Joe team SWAT unit via the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency). As weapons specialist he ensures each member's firearms work properly and that they always have the appropriate firearms for any given situation.

His name comes from his uncanny ability to be shot at and not hit despite his imposing stature. He is a valued member of the team with years of experience under his belt.
