Red Wolf was one of only three characters to make the transition from the Action Force vs. The Red Shadows range to the AF vs. Cobra range (the other two being Dolphin and Moondancer). The original figure was a rather limited movement black and red spaceman; the update was simply Wild Weasel renamed. For the custom, I tried a compromise of the two, albeit with a colour scheme closer to the Red Shadows version, using the more futuristic-looking parts that came to hand. The only issue, was, as many times before, the head. After seeing Void's fantastic custom, using a TIE Fighter Pilot, I decided that a Star Wars route might be useful. However, I wanted to avoid duplicating his version, so I turned instead to Captain Typho. His helmet suggests the original but is also suitably unique. I glued it onto a spare Cross Hair head (I decided to make it non-removable, especially as I'd already used an unmasked Cross Hair for Beaver), and job done.
