30th anniversary Iron Grenadier

The original version of this Iron Grenadier with all the grey camo paint was cool but when Hasbro cut costs and left the core figure just grey he looked dull.

So I threw the body in a black rit dye batch, painted the head, gave the arm pads a solid red paint layer and did a dry brush silver finish. I regret not throwing his gun in the dye batch but I don't think that plastic will take the dye. I also trimmed the post off ammo box and I'm still thinking about trimming back the amount of bullets feeding into the gun.

This looks much better IMO and works well with the 25th anniversary Iron Grenadier troops. I just wish he came with the same gun the Destro made with the same body had.
