I've always been a fan of Destro's Iron Grenadiers. So much so that the 2005 G.I. Joe collectors convention set M.A.R.S. Attacks set is one of the few convention sets I own.

So in staring at yet ANOTHER Iron Grenadier in the recent wave of Toys R Us 50th Anniversary offerings gave me mixed feelings. I am always happy to have new figures, but I have a legion of these guys already.

So what to do with this guy?

A change in gear, some paint...and here we go.
