A farm boy from Arkansas, Red Neck grew up shootng any varmit that got into his family's cornfield. Later he started growing and traffiking his own crops, and that's how he encountered the Dreanoks. Impressed by his skill at smuggling and shooting Zartan offered him a place in the organization.
