This is like the third Raziel fig I've attempted. The first two were in ML scale, though. This one was stumping me for a loooooooooong time as I just can't fake up a fabric cowl for him that looks right all contracted up against his head, and also stretches out for him to hold open when feeding upon spectral energy. I just couldn't get it to work.

However, once I gave that up and went with an Overkill cowl, the rest of it essentially fell into place over about a week's time.

The head is a Scalpel, with the jaw carved out and needles inserted for fangs. The hair bits are off a $2 Baroness.

The claws are slivers of plexi (for support) with Sculpey for mass. The wrappings are made from a square yard of canvas I bought for like $3. The greaves are off the Legionnaire Stickfa I've been cannibalizing for one of my CG Watch Cmdrs. The wing flaps are some blue sock material I cut up.

The spine is a length of some bendy tentacle I cannibalized off an old War Planets toy. I drilled li'l holes thru the back sides of the torso and pelvis pieces, stripped the tentacle of about 2mm of plastic off each end of the wire, and glued the exposed wire into each body part. This gives the figure full structural support, so there's not a rubbery connection between body and spine.

I also "dabbed" the skin with superglue. This gives the fig a rough satiny surface which I think fits the corpus of an undead spirit vampire better.

The Soul Reaver is some Palpy force lightning cut and glued to the proper shape needed. Some other colors of force lightning would be greatly appreciated, to show the various spell enhancements the Reaver is capable; such as the Aer Reaver, Water Reaver, Blood Reaver, and the Fire Reaver.

The staff weapons are a custom slap up of some 1mm plexi and model spruce and one borrowed from the Riddick fig in Necro armor, respectively.

Raziel is the spurned and tortured vampire son of Kain. Having developed wings before his Vampire Sire, Raziel had the bones ripped from his flesh by Kain's jealous hand and was tumbled down into the Well of Souls to rot for a thousand years.

The ages passed and Raziel was resurrected by the Elder God, and was offered the opportunity to seek vengeance while accomplishing the Elder God's machinations.

During a fight, Kain struck Raziel with his mystical sword the Soul Reaver. The blade shattered upon contact with Raziel's skull and its energy infused into his form. It now manifests itself as a glowing energy blade emanating from his right arm. The Soul Reaver imbues Raziel with the spirit energy he needs to maintain his presence on the Physical Plane; but it is a hungry and avaricious blade as well. The more Raziel kills with the blade, the more souls it seeks to devour; and can turn on its host with abandon.
