This is what Deep Six looked like on-duty when not wearing his diving suit, at least according to the Marvel run of the Joe comics.

I was going to use a Thunder head for this custom (like a few on joecustoms.com did) but opted instead to just stay with Deep Six's. I achieved the sweater look on the torso with just good old fashioned carving. The hat had a pair of googles on it, but with an Xacto, some sanding and lots of patience, I removed them, achieving the Navy issued hat Deep Six had in the comics.
