During a dimensional rift between the DC and Joe universes caused by Cobra Commander, heroes from both sides were forced into conflict with Cobra forces after it was discovered that the Flash, Barry Allen was indeed alive and being held captive in the Joe universe. Mary Marvel and her brother Captain Marvel along with friend Captain Marvel, Jr. were responsible for getting the heroes home after the conflict as the Scarlet Speedster was too weak after his imprisonment.
