Angelo Mortalli was a former mob hitman who was betrayed by the people he worked for. He went into witness protection, but was kidnapped for an experimental procedure. Nanites were injected into his bloodstream. The nanites erased his memory and allowed him to heal from almost any injury, allow him to communicate with electronics, as well as increasing all of his normal abilities. He was used by the military to be the perfect soldier.
