I began the project of Grand Slam and Flash together. At the time, I didn't have a decent head for Flash. I had debated using a BBI head for him but decided that the Red Spot head was a good fit for the team's original laser trooper. I also like the look that Devil's Due gave him...before they killed him off. With that mind, I took the Razorclaw v2 helmet and modded it to look like Flash's from DD. I also decided to use the Star Wars rifle because it has a different enough look to be an updated version of his laser without looking like a standard rifle.
