This is the Alpha Complex. It is the base of operations for Joes in the field. I never could find a use for Checkpoint Alpha, since it was always out in the middle of nowhere. I made this complex so it would have a precise location and stationary position somewhere away from Joe HQ. That way, they know right where it is in case they need to deploy something in that specific area and they can have an away team ready to go from the Complex instead of rounding one up from HQ. If that is the case, it will serve as a home away from home with all the amenities of a regular HQ, so there can be field ready Joes. It will also serve as a diplomatic stopping point, catering to those in authority positions on another part of the globe. It's a Joe rest stop. Yo Joe!
