Defense Outpost Alpha (D. O. A.) is the G.I. Joe team's first line of defense against Cobra. Located a few miles from G.I. Joe's secret underground base The Pit, D. O. A. can hold and stand against fully armed Cobra troopers and Stingers. Armed with a high powered machine gun, mortar and numerous rifles and grenades that the G.I. Joe team can use. Cobra will surely have D. O. A. casualties when they cross G.I. Joe's Defense Outpost Alpha.
